Education
3DPC is dedicated to educating the Purdue community, as well as the surrounding West Lafayette community on 3D printing technologies and CAD design through technical guidance, hands-on engagement and peer-to-peer learning experiences.
We accomplish this by offering CAD design lessons to all Purdue students, as well as work with other clubs and organizations to host/volunteer at outreach events.
CAD Lessons - TBD
This semester we are offering weekly CAD lessons to any Purdue student who wants to participate.
Purdue students have the choice to take lessons in SolidWorks or Fusion 360. Lessons are run by 3DPC supervisors, and no experience in CAD is necessary to participate.
All lessons are recorded and uploaded to our youtube channel.
If you sign up for lessons after they have started, you will be asked to catch up during the weekly meetings on your own before joining a group. A supervisor will be available for any help you may need.
Lessons take place weekly on Wednesdays at 6:30 pm on our Discord. Refer to the Support page for a full schedule.

Miss a class or don’t have time to attend classes? You can find all of our lessons and additional tutorials at on our YouTube channel here.
Outreach
To reach out to the West Lafayette community, 3DPC provides 3D printing and CAD design expertise to those who want help with any events or activities. We currently work with Algebra by the 7th Grade and CoderDojo to teach K-12 students CAD design and 3D printing.
If you would like to schedule an outreach event or have any questions, please contact us by email.
